Hosting is truly one of my favorite things to do. Dreaming of the decor, curating the best menu, and picking fresh florals brings me so much joy. Early June was perfect for this morning because the summer activities hadn’t yet come into full swing.

I purely went with vibes and what I had for this theme. My original idea was to have a classy tea party, but it ended up more whimsical and colorful. Practically everything (except the food of course) was thrifted by myself or mom.

The flowers were all from our new property; picked fresh in the morning. I sent a flower home with each of the girls as their favor. Peonies are so classic and fragrant that it seems no matter how many plants you get; it’s not enough.

The dear souls helped me carry in the chairs and dishes which spared lots of steps later in my day.

I’m so grateful for my new friends and the joy of gathering.

Here’s to many more picnics, brunches, and dinners in our backyard 🤍
