My sister said that she would like if I’d do a bit more writing in my posts and I decided to try it this time. I’m not in any way an author so maybe this will improve my work. Here we go: )
our backyard
Behind our house is a little grove of pine trees that is great for picnics and walking.

going on walks
I’ve been trying to walk three miles every day & I love the scenery around here.

boat ride down the Willamette
The staff went to Portland for a Saturday and we took a ride down the beautiful river- I’ll do a post about it later.

snow beside the road
On the way home from Madras we stopped beside the road much to my delight ; )

cheesecake at the staff meeting

Starbucks : )
We served hot dogs and sang outside of a homeless shelter and on the way home we got some warm drinks.

picnic in the backyard
One foggy day when mom was gone I packed a little picnic & spent a few hours journaling & reading.

visiting Michelle in Madras
Grant and I drove over for volleyball one night and the next day I sat with the girls in the car while Michelle shopped.

ice & frost
My first time trespassing 🤫🫣 they all said it was ok so I went and I guess it was worth it to see all the interesting ice.

another new coffee shop
Michelle and the girls were here for a day so we checked out this cute little spot.

Seven hours in PDX
Portland is nearly two hours from the base & to save someone an extra trip, I rode along early with a group that was leaving. It actually didn’t feel that long; I got coffee and breakfast, relaxed for a while, and studied my anatomy course for Physical Therapy. (Oh and I guess two more new coffee shops 🤭)

weekend Bible school
I was blessed to be able to attend Youth Bible school in Missouri last weekend. It was a really inspiring experience and so great to see my cousins again.

sunshiny afternoon
The weather this month has been unusually sunny for this area. So before it changed back to being wet, I had a little picnic & painted some watercolor cards.

surprise!!
Last night we were expecting Gina and her daughters and I was in the kitchen talking. I look up and there was Deborah!! I was super shocked and screamed a bit but it was wonderful. She was down in California for Orange harvest and it seemed wrong that I wouldn’t see her, but she extended her stay and came with Gina : ) thanks 😍🤗
