We went to Rosie’s for coffee and food and ended up staying for almost three hours. The conversation was so good we didn’t want it to end. I’m sure we entertained the baristas with our various topics of discussion 😆😍

We lived just above the river for four plus months but this was the first time I actually went down to it. So peaceful and gorgeous!

Seattle and Bainbridge Island

Marlene and I took a night and day trip to explore Seattle. I’ll do some posts about it later.

One sunny afternoon we went traipsing through the blackberry bushy hillside to pick buckets of daffodils. I mostly took pictures and tried to not get scratched beyond recognition. After we were satisfied with our bouquets, the dear friend who owned the property took us to see her baby highland cow 😍.

Mom and I went to a fun bookstore in Albany and then stopped at this coffee shop for refreshment. It was so beautiful and everything was delicious. I’m glad I bought a book because it made a cute addition to the old fashioned vibes.

A few of us ladies took some lessons and threw mugs and bowls and then glazed them too. It was fun but also a bit stressful. I’m happy with how mine turned out 🫶🏼

The cooks, Alyssa, and I grabbed breves at Mountain Grounds and went down below the bridges in Mill City to enjoy them.
