In my opinion, 2/3 of the appeal of the city is the wonderful food. If you’re hungry for something- or anything, New York is bound to have plenty to satisfy you.

Come along for a photo journey of a lot of the food stops we made.

Le Pain Quotidien

The BEST bakery/coffee shops in the city (in my opinion). We ate an embarrassing amount of almond croissants from here.

Starbucks Reserve Roastery

Ess-a-Bagel

Charlotte Cafe 🫶🏼

Mercato

Tudor City Steakhouse

Probably the fanciest place I’ve ever dined in. We walked in one afternoon, very underdressed; but you never would have known by the way the waiters treated us.

Funny story: Laurie ordered steak tartare for appetizer and when it arrived it looked like this

It was arranged so neatly on the plate- but yikes it’s raw🙈 We had a major country-mice-in-the-city moment and giggled a few bites of it down.

The dear server came over and asked us if we didn’t like it. We assured him that it wasn’t gross- we were just a bit concerned about eating uncooked food 😂 I mean I could spread some of the mixed beef on a cracker when I’m making burgers and it would be pretty much the same thing. It was good for us to stretch our palate though.

The New York Strip was something to remember 🤤🤌🏼 They cut it right in front of us and arranged the food on heated plates.

After we’d finished our dinner, he brought us a chocolate mousse- on the house; )

We came back on Laurie’s birthday for more mousse and coffee🤗

Picnic in Central Park

One morning we shopped at a gourmet grocery store for our brunch, and had a picnic in the park.

More yummy spots

Pizza

We really didn’t eat enough NY pizza. I mean it when I say I had the best pizza ever in our hotel restaurant (Unfortunately I don’t have a pic of it).

Hungry yet?😁
