Last Wednesday night we made the decision to surprise Hans in Montana. The next afternoon Carlon & Laurie, Claye, Dad & Mom, Grant and I hit that road for the third time in 4 months.

Friday morning, 8:20 AM, we knocked on Hans’s classroom door. I don’t know if it was his surprise or the fact that we looked like hitchhikers from traveling overnight, but either way he was a bit pale.
He was able to get a substitute so we could go out for lunch. It was really sweet that Judi could join us, and afterwards we enjoyed coffee at her house and explored a bit of a Hutterite colony.

We walked down the lane by his place at sunset.

Saturday morning Dad, Mom, and I drove over to see Andrew, Brandon & Gina and the children.

I got to meet darling little Soraya 🥰

I joined my cousin Veronica’s family on their photo shoot.
The light was so great that I couldn’t help but take some pictures. Maacah came along and she was happy to be my model. I love that her outfit totally matches her personality ; )

On the way home (Monday) we stopped at a coffee shop in Winnemucca.
I always love impromptu trips, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint 🫶🏼
Wishing you a happy weekend,
