Mom, Dad, and I left Wednesday morning for another wedding in Montana.

I read multiple chapters of “Love Comes Softly “ to mom while she drove. We both hadn’t read it in years and had forgotten about some of the funny moments. We got the giggles a few times about Marty’s flopped, rocky biscuits; her chasing and slaughtering a rooster, but first removing the ruler of the roost’s beak; her temper at Missie’s running away and more. It was good to read it again; their faith, strength, and love are examples we all can learn from.

We arrived at a friend’s home for supper and the night. They lived right next to this field of gorgeous sunflowers, which delighted me immensely : )
