In my last post, I had just landed in Sacramento and was headed to Fort Bragg.
We had a safe drive through the mountains and the cool air welcomed us Friday afternoon.
Here are some pictures from that evening and Saturday.

Fort Bragg

beautiful flowers
these were outside of the motel we slept at, and I thought the lighting was pretty perfect.

sunsets on the beach
I don’t think it can get much better than a Pacific coast sunset✨

the ocean
oh how deep, dreamy, & blue is this beautiful place

the harbor
we got to eat seafood while watching the boats go in and out

cute coral motel
I walked past this place probably five times and it made me think of pictures from Greece for some reason : )

small town
The salty air, old and new stores, hustle of inlanders, coffee shops, and sunshine make it a lovely place for window shopping.

picturesque food
Food doesn’t have to look good to be delicious but it’s very helpful.
P.S. The first dish was Grant’s; the day I order that will be a wild one.

seaside succulents
It’s truly amazing that they can grow and bloom in this hot sand.

Volkswagen bug in the alley
I quickly snapped this photo as he drove past.

fireworks off the headlands

that’s all for now ☺️
I’m so pleased that I
was able to be there with my family. We enjoyed our reprieve from the 105+ degrees that greeted us back home. And I can’t wait to go back.
